Below are your action items to participate in the fair:

  • Sign up for 4-H, declare the Horse and Pony Project (open enrollment until May 13th)
  • Animal registration and class participation – link coming soon – register your animal, turn in lease paperwork (if applicable), and select which classes you’d like to participate in. Deadline for animal registration is May 13th, class assignment will come in June.
  • Turn in vaccination records (due first time animal visits the fairgrounds)
  • Attend unmounted meetings (although not required, we hope you’ll join us for games, information on showing and more) join our mailing list to stay up to date on what is happening monthly.  
  • Attend mounted workshops (check calendar for current dates) one workshops is required, but you may attend more if you like.  The horse you will show at fair should be the horse you ride in workshops to demonstrate you and your horses ability to ride in a group and away from home. 
  • Practice, practice, practice (click here for sample patterns you can work on at home)
  • Pack your trailer and get ready, its show time! (click here for our fair prep check-list!)

Friday, July 12 -Western Day (including halter/showmanship for both English and Western, Senior Grand Champion Showmanship, pleasure classes, Reining, Western riding, trail and contesting classes)

Saturday, July 13 – English Day (including pleasure/equitation classes, Hunter hack/jumping classes, versatility classes, and Dressage )

*All mini contestants will show on Friday, July 12 regardless of discipline
